Heureusement, il a pu rejoindre notre famille aimante. Il est arriv\u00e9 dans le village d\u2019enfants de NPH R\u00e9publique dominicaine au d\u00e9but de l\u2019ann\u00e9e 2019, avec son fr\u00e8re Fabio et sa s\u0153ur Leila.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jusqu\u2019alors, la vie d\u2019Hernando \u00e9tait tout sauf facile. Il a grandi sans p\u00e8re dans un bidonville de la capitale Saint-Domingue, sur les rives de la tr\u00e8s pollu\u00e9e rivi\u00e8re Ozama. Le taux de ch\u00f4mage y est \u00e9lev\u00e9 et beaucoup, pour survivre et gagner leur vie, sombrent dans la criminalit\u00e9, la prostitution et la violence. Les enfants \u00e9galement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Hernando avait 7 ans lorsque son grand-p\u00e8re et ange gardien, Pedrito, est d\u00e9c\u00e9d\u00e9. Suite \u00e0 cela, sa m\u00e8re a eu des probl\u00e8mes mentaux et a bascul\u00e9 dans la drogue.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Les conditions de vie de la famille se sont d\u00e9t\u00e9rior\u00e9es \u00e0 mesure que sa d\u00e9pendance augmentait. Elle a \u00e9galement eu recours \u00e0 des pratiques ill\u00e9gales pour pouvoir nourrir ses enfants. Parfois, ils recevaient de<br>quoi manger de leurs voisins, mais il y avait aussi des jours o\u00f9 Hernando devait sortir le ventre vide, \u00e0 la recherche de nourriture. Les enfants<br>\u00e9taient compl\u00e8tement d\u00e9laiss\u00e9s et ne recevaient que tr\u00e8s peu d\u2019amour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jusqu\u2019\u00e0 ce que les services sociaux les am\u00e8nent \u00e0 la maison de transition<br>\u00ab Hogar de Paso Az\u00faa \u00bb. De l\u00e0, ils ont finalement \u00e9t\u00e9 accueillis dans notre village d\u2019enfants. Notre organisation, Nuestros Peque\u00f1os Hermanos<br>(NPH), a chang\u00e9 la vie d\u2019Hernando, de son fr\u00e8re et de sa s\u0153ur. Le processus<br>d\u2019adaptation a \u00e9t\u00e9 consid\u00e9rable. Apr\u00e8s leur arriv\u00e9e, les enfants ont d\u2019abord eu des r\u00e9actions \u00e9motives et parfois rebelles. Maintenant, ils se sont \u00e9panouis. Les soignants et les psychologues les aident \u00e0 faire face \u00e0 leur pass\u00e9 traumatisant. Hernando restera \u00e9ternellement reconnaissant envers<br>NPH. Il re\u00e7oit des soins m\u00e9dicaux, une alimentation saine, un toit, de l\u2019affection, du soutien et une \u00e9ducation scolaire. On le voit souvent assis en classe avec un grand sourire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">C\u2019est avec ce m\u00eame sourire et les yeux qui brillent qu\u2019Hernando pense \u00e0 son<br>moment pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9 de l\u2019ann\u00e9e : No\u00ebl. Il est impatient de c\u00e9l\u00e9brer son deuxi\u00e8me No\u00ebl chez NPH Belgium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u00ab Ma famille ne f\u00eatait jamais No\u00ebl. Alors l\u2019ann\u00e9e pass\u00e9e, mon premier No\u00ebl a \u00e9t\u00e9 magique ! \u00bb <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cela n\u2019aurait pas \u00e9t\u00e9 possible sans l\u2019aide de nos donateurs. Cette ann\u00e9e encore, Hernando, Fabio et Leia attendent No\u00ebl avec impatience, m\u00eame si<br>ce sera diff\u00e9rent \u00e0 cause du coronavirus : No\u00ebl sera encore plus plac\u00e9 sous le signe de l\u2019espoir et de la lumi\u00e8re.
